Soil

Rich, well-drained, loamy soil with a slightly acidic pH between 6.0 and 6.5.

Watering

Provide one inch of water per week; keep soil moist but not soggy, watering when the top 2-4 inches of soil are dry.

Fertilizer

Use commercial rose food or general all-purpose fertilizer applied according to label instructions throughout the blooming season.

Pruning

Prune in late winter or early spring; limit to shortening weak growths, removing dead or twiggy growth, and occasional pruning of older stems to near soil level.
